Greylune

Greylune, Land of Adventures
Greylune is the starting and ending point for many expeditions undertaken by adventurers in search of glory. Recruit companions, acquire items, and embark on exciting adventures! Once you return, share your heroic deeds in the taverns, turning your achievements into legend.
Greylune is an Eurogame with original mechanics, where the seasons dictate your strategy: place and remove your villagers at the right moment, prepare yourself, and assemble your team. Will you become the most prestigious figure in Greylune?

The Key Concepts of Greylune
You have five years to gather as many victory points as possible and reach your goal. During the game, you will need to:
- recruit Companions, acquire Items, and interact with the city Buildings
- go on adventures and experience exciting Encounters
- tell stories in the city Taverns
- develop your Strength and Magic skills
- participate in city events and complete heroic quests

How do you play Greylune?
A game of Greylune is played over 5 rounds (called years) divided into 3 time periods. Each year is divided into 4 seasons, and each season allows players to perform different actions:
- Winter: This is the setup phase and the transition from one year to the next.
- Spring: Players can place their villagers in the streets of Greylune or participate in the annual event.
- Summer: During this season, players can remove their villagers from Greylune to earn coins, buy an Item, recruit a Companion, or use the services of one of the city’s Buildings.
- Fall: this is when players take their turn and wait for other players before moving on to the next year.
In Greylune, players don’t always progress through the seasons at the same pace: it’s up to you to choose the right moment to change seasons! Some may therefore find themselves in Summer or Fall while others are still in Spring. Of course, you won’t be able to go back in the seasons!

Greylune, a unique game
From placing… to retrieving workers!
With Greylune, William Attia takes a fresh look at worker placement through a concept that’s as clever as it is original. Here, your villagers don’t just occupy spaces: they’re placed between the cards that make up the city, creating constant tension among players, all competing to claim them at the right moment.
Every decision is a matter of timing: should you move to summer to claim a card before your opponents, or stay in spring to deploy more villagers? Anticipation, timing, and reading your opponents’ moves are at the heart of the experience.
An adventure at the heart of a challenging Eurogame
Adventure is a cornerstone of Greylune. Each year, only a few Encounters are available: you’ll need to be the first to meet the requirements (Strength, Magic, coins, etc.) and travel far enough to claim the most coveted cards. These feats will become stories to tell in the city’s taverns.
Theme and mechanics are closely intertwined, offering a deep sense of immersion and a feeling of constant progression.
