Marie Curie, born Maria Skłodowska on November 7, 1867, in Warsaw, Poland, was a pioneering scientist in the field of
radioactivity, recognized today as one of the greatest scholars in history
You play the role of young scientists working alongside Marie Curie, helping her with her research. Together, you’ll discover radium, conduct experiments, improve your laboratory, write thesis and win Nobel prizes!

In the Footsteps of Marie Curie is a family game for 2 to 4 players, in which young scientists help the famous scientist with her various research studies on Radium.
Using the machine in her laboratory, represented by a cube tower, you can manipulate and transform your resources to carry out various experiments on pitchblende, uranium and radium. You can also enhance your workshop with cards that offer various bonuses. By writing Thesis, you can collect increasingly interesting bonuses.

On your turn, you’ll follow 4 steps:
Over the course of the game, you’ll follow the major events in Marie Curie’s life through a timeline. Once you’ve reached the end of the timeline, the player with the most points wins the game!

As with In the Footsteps of Darwin, In the Footsteps of Marie Curie includes a special booklet that provides more information on the life of the eminent scientist and her research subject: radioactivity.
In it, you can discover the major stages in her discoveries of Radium, her encounters with peers such as Einstein, and the story behind her double Nobel Prize. And if you’re wondering how to estimate the age of a fossil, you’ll find the answer in this booklet!
